India currently is under a 21-day lockdown to break the chain of this virus and as our Hon’ble Prime Minister said, if we don’t act now, the development of our country will be pushed back by 21 years. In this scenario, it is important for us to continue to connect with each other through various communication channels, keep our confidence level high and spearhead policy advocacy in a focused manner with government and all other stakeholders.

Maruti has tied up with AgVa Healthcare to scale up production of ventilators. The automaker intends to manufacture 10,000 ventilators per month. MSIL subsidiaries, Krishna Maruti and Bharat Seats, will provide two million masks and protective clothing. Read more

Mahindra & Mahindra

The company has offered to use its manufacturing units to make ventilators. The Group's resorts will be used as temporary care facilities. Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra will donate 100 per cent of his salary to the fund. Read more

TVS Motors / Sundaram Clayton

Company, along with group firm Sundaram-Clayton, plans to spend Rs 30 crore towards making a million masks, employing factory kitchens, supplying food to daily wage labourers and exploring the possibility of making ventilators. Read more

The company will be shipping 2 million N95 face masks for healthcare workers across hospitals in Europe and the US. Read more

Ford

Ford has partnered with 3M and GE Healthcare to assemble plastic face shields to distribute to emergency medical workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. It will 3D print 100,000 face shields each week to help protect health care workers. Read more

General Motors

The company has announced that it will use its resources to help produce much-needed ventilators for treating COVID-19 patients. In a joint statement, GM and Ventec Life Systems said they are collaborating to boost production of Ventec ventilators. Read more
